WHAT IS THE SECOND 8TH WEEK?
The Second 8th Week is also known as the Week of Righteousness and it is the time allotted by God for
Hos.4:1,3, "Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel; for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. Because there is NO TRUTH, nor mercy, nor KNOWLEDGE of God in the land..... therefore the land mourns...."
As God restores TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE through the headship of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the apostles through Second 8th Week Ministries, the land will experience the healing and deliverances from demons, and the name of Jesus Christ will be glorified. This time that God has allotted for the restoration of His truth and government will come with great grace and power, exceeding the power of the First 8th Week.
This is the final evangelistic move the Body of Christ has been waiting for. It will be dynamic, and will be evident on a global scale as the believers come into ONE Body, embracing ONE faith in Christ. This is the end time revival that has been prophesied of. The sinners who reject the grace of God during this time, and choose to remain indifferent to God in the face of this great outpouring will receive their just rewards of pain and sorrow, and the awful travail such as God will rain upon the earth during the Tribulation. God's vengeance on this scale would not be fair if the peoples of the world had not experienced the greatest outpouring of His love, power, and grace that He has reserved for the Second 8th Week, the Week of Righteousness.
In Revelation 6:16 we read that the sinners of the earth will cry out to the mountains and rocks in that day, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb." Today, when the world suffers through earthquakes and tornadoes and fires and other 'natural disasters' under the judgments of God's warnings to sinful mankind, no man has said, "Hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb."
Why will sinners make this outcry during the Tribulation? Because the Body of Christ will become ONE again and the pure Word and Power of God will be so strong during the Second 8th Week, the Week of Righteousness, that all sinners will know who the true God is, and His plan for salvation through Jesus Christ. The veil of ignorance and blindness will be gone. Their rejection of Christ will be inexcusable. They can no longer say that the religions of the world confused them, or that they thought they could serve God their own way, or that they did not know who Jesus is.
SECOND 8TH WEEK IN PERSPECT OF THE WEEKS OF THE LORD
I Enoch 90:12, "Then after that there shall occur the Second 8th week; the week of righteousness. A sword shall be given to it in order that judgment shall be executed in righteousness on the oppressors, and sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous."
vs.13, "At its completion, they shall acquire GREAT THINGS through their righteousness. A HOUSE shall be built for the GREAT KING in glory for evermore."
vs. 14, "Then after that in the 9th week the righteous judgment shall be revealed to the WHOLE WORLD. All the deeds of the sinners shall depart from upon the WHOLE EARTH, and be written off for eternal destruction; and all people shall direct their sight to the path of uprightness."
vs. 15, "Then, after this matter, on the 10th week, in the 7th part there shall be the eternal judgment; and it shall be executed by the angels of the eternal heaven; the great (judgment) which emanates from all of the angels."
vs.16, "The FIRST HEAVEN shall depart and pass away; a NEW HEAVEN shall appear; and all the powers of heaven shall shine forever 7 fold."
vs.17, "Then after that there shall be MANY WEEKS without number forever; it shall be (a time) of goodness and righteousness, and sin shall no more be herd of forever."
God has divided time into days and weeks to show the progression of His plan. A thousand years is as one day (II Pet.3:8). Seven days of time is the same as 7,000 years. That time frame includes 1,000 years of Christ reigning on this earth. The eighth day signals the end of the reign of Christ on this earth, and the beginning of eternity just like the 8th day of the week signifies the revolution of another cycle. The 8,000 year is the same as the 8th day.
When we speak of the weeks, each week centered on the plan of God that unfolded through a righteous person.
WEEK # 1 --- ENOCH
WEEK # 2 --- NOAH
WEEK # 3 --- ABRAHAM
WEEK # 4 --- MOSES
WEEK # 5 --- DAVID AND THE TEMPLE
FIRST 8TH WEEK ---- THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST; BEGINNING OF THE CHURCH IN POWER.
WEEK #6 --- DARKNESS OF THE CHURCH; SHEEP ARE BLINDFOLDED
SECOND8THWEEK --- RESTORATION OF THE CHURCH IN TRUTH AND POWER.
WEEK #7 --- TRIBULATION AND ANTI-CHRIST
WEEK # 9 --- MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST
WEEK #10 --- THE PERPETUAL WEEK. ETERNITY.
WHY the 8th week follows the 5th week
WHY the 8th week is split in 2:
SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE ---
1. The 8th week represents Christ through Noah who is called by the apostle Peter, 'the eighth person', a preacher of righteousness (II Pet.2:5). There were 8 souls saved in the ark (I Pet.3:20). The ark represent salvation through Jesus Christ.
2. The number 8 is also the spiritual number which represents eternity. The eighth day is the eternal day, the perpetual day, when time is no longer. God takes the 8th week to represent the work of Christ. The eighth week is seen to follow the 5th week because Christ's work is signified through the number 8.
3. The 8th week again represents Christ through Noah through the number 2. Noah being the 2nd week, he represents the dividing of the 8th week. Christ is seen as the ark of our salvation. God provided salvation through Jesus Christ in the first 8th week.
Noah, being the 2nd week also represents the work of Christ being carried through to a time after the flood. This represents the work of Christ being carried on into the Second 8th Week after the 6th week (darkness, blindness). Double meaning: as Noah was carried away in the ark being saved from the first consummation (flood), so also the church in the Second 8th Week will be carried away in the rapture before the second consummation (tribulation).
4. The 8th week being split in 2 represents the divine healing through Christ. Eight divided by 2 equals 4. The number 4 is a spiritual number that represents healing.
The Eighth week is cut up in two because it signifies that the power of the gospel that was present in the first eighth week will be duplicated in the second eight week.
Hosea 6:2,3, "After 2 days (two thousand years after the resurrection of Christ) He will revive us; in the third day (in the 3rd millennium after the resurrection of Christ) He will raise us up (rapture) and we shall live in His sight."
"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord; His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, the latter and the former rain upon the earth." The latter rain being mentioned before the former rain because the glory and power of the latter rain will exceed the glory and power of the former rain.
The former rain ---- First 8th week
The latter rain ------ Second 8th week
Jn.14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on Me, the works that I do (First8thweek) shall he do also (Pentecost and early Church) and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do (Second8thwk); because I go unto My Father."
TYPES AND SHADOWS OF THE 6TH WEEK:
The 6th week is the time
period of darkness for the church.
In the area of doctrine, the Church has nearly
2,000 years of false doctrine to overcome. We see the types and shadows of this
time of bondage for the Church through Moses. He smote the Rock twice instead
of speaking to it as God had commanded (Num.20:8). The Rock symbolized Christ (I
Cor.10:4). This ‘smiting’ of the Rock in contradiction to the word of the
Lord symbolized the two thousand years that the church would be smitten. In
rebuking Moses, God was also speaking of the Church, "Because ye believed me
not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel,
therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given
them (Num.20:12).”
Nevertheless water did gush out of the Rock to quench the thirst of the people.
And so it is, that even though the Church went into captivity, the Lord did not
leave the Church without some deliverances (we an all
testify to the grace of God in our lives), but believers never come into the
fullness of Christ after the early apostles passed away.
The time of bondage for the church was also symbolized through Samson when his two eyes were being put out. This symbolized the spiritual blindness of the Church. Samson was left to grind in the mill. This showed the judge and contact point subject to the Philistines. His labor was in vain. This was also a form of mockery that the Church had to endure because the government was no longer on Jesus’ shoulders. Even though Samson's eyes were put out he brought down the 2 pillars (represents 2 thousand years of the false system) at the time God renewed his strength. God is about to renew the Church and restore to the Church purity and strength.
Samson died with his captors. This depicts that the old religious system, which is blind, will pass away during this time of deliverance. What will be reborn is the Church, according to the original pattern of perfect faith which is in our Lord Jesus Christ.
